As part of her successful range of careers, Ms. Cruz-Quintanilla founded and operated a catering business which serviced the local Guam community and up to 10,000 military personnel during each catering event. Ms. Cruz-Quintanilla aka “the Funnel Cake Lady” was recognized locally in both media and print for her leading role as a small business entrepreneur in Guam - dba: Scrumptious Guam.

Ms Cruz-Quintanilla was born and raised in Guam, allowing her first-hand knowledge of the culture, people and traditions. She has lived and worked in the U.S. mainland and in Okinawa for 3 years, gaining knowledge of the Japanese and Okinawan language and culture. In addition, her multicultural skills continue to allow her to communicate in the Chamorro and Korean languages.
